Contract with the Government of the Republic of São Tomé e Príncipe

The ARESA INTERNATIONAL GROUP, continuing with its policy of international expansion, signed a contract with the Democratic Government od the Tepublic of São Tomé e Príncipe for the construction of a monohull destined for the passenger´s transport, which will carry out its scheduled service between the Islands of São Tomé e Príncipe, This new ship of high velocity, will have advanced technological systems and experts which have led the movement of a new challenge in its construction for the Group.

The ship, which has 70% of its production process, will be launched in few days and will be sent to the Arenys de Mar during the second week in July of 2009. Subsequently, personnel of the ARESA GROUP conducted jointly with members of the Government of this African country, the shipping by way of the sea from Arenys de Mar to São Tomé e Príncipe, with a duration of approximately 25 days at sea over Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

This new passenger´s transport ship of high velocity has been built with a special system of structural reinforcement; it can handle high velocities while maintaining comfortable conditions for the passengers.

The hull design has been studied to alleviate the high velocities with current and aggressive lines, and it maintains in addition great stable conditions, just as much widthwise as lengthwise.

The interior accommodation has been studied in order to separate the normal cabin from that of the VIP cabin. The two types of cabins have been equipped with special seating for this type of navigation, safety, and comfort ruining the interior design of the ship.
